Vision in Neurorehabilitation: Practical Tools for Assessment & Management Virtual and on-demand: Sept. 9-Nov. 18, 2025 (Session One) or on-demand: Jan. 20-March 24, 2026 (Session Two) This course is an introduction to common visual-perceptual impairments that can limit performance in patients who have visual impairments after neurologic injury or illness. Learners will be introduced to components of a comprehensive vision assessment. Traumatic Brain Injury: From Coma to Independence Virtual and on-demand: Sept. 11-Dec. 4, 2025 (Session One) or Summer 2026 (Dates coming soon!) This 10-session, online course follows the path of recovery for a patient with a severe traumatic brain injury. Participants will explore the different stages, from disorders of consciousness (DoC; Rancho Amigo Los Amigos I-III to the Rancho IV designation). Pediatric Gait Analysis & Orthotic Management: OSKAR Virtual and on-demand: Oct. 10-Dec. 12, 2025 This course provides an in-depth look into and analysis of standing and walking. Optimal Segment Kinematics and Alignment Approach to Rehabilitation (OSKAR) principles emphasize segments and joints, crucial for understanding standing, walking, rehabilitation and orthotic management. Healing Young Brains: A Collaborative Approach to Pediatric Brain Injury Rehabilitation Virtual and on-demand: Jan. 8-Feb. 26, 2026 (Session One) or on-demand: April 16-June 4, 2026 (Session Two) This course is designed to equip healthcare professionals with the foundational knowledge, practical strategies and collaborative frameworks needed to support young patients and their families throughout the rehabilitation journey.
